I just found this fact. I should update my GNS3 software as frequent as possible!

The default setting in GNS3 Preferences, General settings, [GUI Settings] tab is to have the [x] Always use manual mode when adding links

I agree that this is the correct default setting, and I do prefer to use manual mode most of the time.

But sometimes, I'd just like to use the automatic mode to force the router to add another card without having to go through the Device Configurator.
