I searched Google with "word shortcut insert date", to get this page.
Shortcut to add current Date and Time in MS Office Word and ExcelIt also works in MS Word 2010 on my PC, in addition to MS Word 2007 and earlier versions mentioned in that post.
Alt + Shift + D Insert the current date. Alt + Shift + T Insert the current time.
dont do that the next time you open that document all the time you entered will be updated
